Former international umpire Colin Egar dies in Adelaide at the age of 80 after a long illness. Egar made his debut in the 1960 tied Test between Australia and West Indies. In 1963 he ended Australia fast bowler Ian Meckiff's international career when he called him for throwing against South Africa.
